CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO HIS EXCELLENCY, DR. AYODELE FAYOSE, ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS CHAIRMAN OF RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY (REA)


I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Dr. Ayodele Fayose, the two-term former Governor of Ekiti State, on his well-deserved appointment as the Chairman of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA).
This appointment is a fitting recognition of your enduring passion for improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians. Long before you became Governor of Ekiti State, you had already earned the admiration of the people through your commitment to grassroots development, particularly by providing potable water to many rural communities. That uncommon dedication to the welfare of the downtrodden laid the foundation for your remarkable political journey and endeared you to the people of Ekiti State.
As Chaurman  of the Rural Electrification Agency, you are entrusted with the vital responsibility of expanding access to reliable electricity in underserved and rural communities across Nigeria. Your office is expected to drive rural electrification projects, promote renewable energy solutions, support economic growth, improve education and healthcare through access to electricity, and enhance the overall quality of life of millions of Nigerians.
I am confident that your wealth of experience, compassion for the less privileged, and proven commitment to grassroots development will enable you to make a significant impact in this strategic national assignment. I encourage you to build on your legacy of people-centred leadership by ensuring that more rural communities benefit from sustainable and affordable electricity, thereby stimulating economic activities and creating better opportunities for the people.
