ODSUBEB Permanent Secretary Visits NLA 2026 Coordination Centre, Commends Officials for Successful Post-Field Activities The National Learning Assessment (NLA) is a nationwide initiative designed to evaluate learners' achievement in foundational and core learning competencies across Nigeria. The 2026 assessment covered English Studies, Mathematics, and Basic Science and Technology for learners at the basic education level, while Citizenship/Heritage Studies was assessed for learners at the Senior Secondary School level. In addition to measuring learners' academic performance, the exercise collected valuable contextual information through questionnaires administered to learners, parents, and headteachers/principals.
